![]() ![]() ![]() Fer starters, how would it make ya feel if I told you that their HDMI inputs are still version 1.2? HDMI 1.2 basically came out like back in 2005, right? They're always trying to rebrand/repackage their shit and then push those lemons out on the holidays, or as Black Friday specials. I recently had the 'misfortune' of finding out, that some of Polaroid's lower-end/budget-priced TVs are still being built by using OLD-ASS recycled motherboards (that are already fried or on their way out) and other ANCIENT parts 'n components pulled/yanked outta much older TVs like from WAY BACK at least 10-15 years ago. Keep in mind that Polaroid's TVs are sometimes rebranded as Insignia which is ULTRA-CRAPPY too. ![]() Good call! But there's also something really important that I gotta tell ya. My Polaroid has lasted 5 years and it’s fine So just claim it on warrantyīefore you EVER EVER! diss a tv especially a good one, it's a electrical manufactured piece of technology not every build will be perfect, and most people get angry when they're not in MINT condition so people at factories don't mess with them unless it's a practice tv used to make sure everything is right, it's not a bad TV just either one that is defective in some way or one that you had messed up in some way, don't hurt the production and peoples opinions on TV's especially when all you do is put ONE video out of trying ONE of these TV's and even if "somehow it only happened to be me to get a defective one" people go through this daily and even with other TV's and brands and etc. You never peel that while its on you will damage any tv like that. I got mine for years, it might of been on some tv display mode Mine had no back light :) glad I bought E waste :/ I have my polaroid for like 6 years now and it's just perfect! No problems and anything I don't even want to get a new TV. Mine has just gone on the blink just out of warranty. I have one and it's good, but sometimes it over heat, just turn it off and let it cool down for a while,it does come back on tho, anyway I hope you got it sorted I've had 2 Polaroid TVs in the past 10 years and can't fault them. The following message appears: "Requested page cannot accessed. I have a problem with the Polaroid smart tv service since yesterday. Shit happens, you might have been the unlucky one to buy a dodgy one. ![]()
